Cerisy is a village 11 kilometres south of Albert, 2 kilometres east of the main road from Albert to Moreuil. The CERISY-GAILLY MILITARY CEMETERY is on the west side of the village on the road to Gailly and Le Hamel and the French National Cemetery is on the south side of this.

Microform Sequence 26; Volume Number 31829_B016735. Reference RG150, 1992-93/314, 170. Page 801 of 1140. His body and those of 55 other Canadian soldiers and two from the United Kingdom were buried in BEAUFORT BRITISH CEMETERY. After the Armistice all bodies in this Cemetery were exhumed and re-interred in CERISY-GAILLY MILITARY CEMETERY.
