Burial Information

Cemetery:

BOULT-AUX-BOIS COMMUNAL CEMETERY
Ardennes, France

Grave Reference:

N/A

Location:

Boult-aux-Bois is a village and commune some 24.5 miles (39 kilometres) south-south-east of Mezieres and 7.5 miles (12 kilometres) north-east of Vouziers, on the road to Buzancy (N.46, N.47). The best route is by bus from Reims to Vouziers and from Vouziers to the village by taxi. Reims has good road and rail connections with Paris and the towns of northern France. The cemetery is on the eastern side of the village at the junction of the roads leading to the neighbouring villages of Germont (N.47) and Briquenay (D.42). About 10 yards north-east of the war memorial in the cemetery are the graves of seven airmen. Four of them belonged to the Royal Air Force and three to the Royal Canadian Air Force.
