Son of Harry S. and Ida Louise Pell of Toronto, Ontario.

Brother of Lieutenant Willard Augustus Pell, who died while serving with the Royal Air Force.

Second Lieutenant Pell went to Queen Victoria Public School, and Parkdale Collegiate Institute and ultimately graduated as an architect.

Location:

Orchard Dump Cemetery is in the village of Arleux-en-Gohelle, on the main road (D919) from Arras to Henin-Lietard. The cemetery lies on the left side of this road approximately 1 kilometre from the village of Bailleul-Sire-Berthoult.
