Son of Jean-Baptiste Dunn (deceased in 1909) and Marie Cloutier (deceased in 1913), of Rivière-au-Renard. He stated being born on the 21st when he enlisted and named as next of kin his brother Odilon, of Rivière-au-Renard and of Nakusp, Kootenay West, British Columbia. Odilon also served with the Canadien Expeditionary Corps (service number 442372 from 1915 to 1919.

His battalion was in a rest area in Marqueffles and Euchariste was killed by a shell while he was on fatigue duty in a support trench.

Brother of Private Adélard Dunn, who also died while serving with the Canadian Infantry (Quebec Regiment) and Odilon Dunn, who served with the Canadian Expeditionary Corps (service number 442372), from 1915 to 1919.

Location:

Bully is approximately 20 kilometres north of Arras. From Arras, take the D937 towards Bethune. At Sains-en-Gohelle, turn right onto the D166E towards Bully. At the first (Casimir Beugret) roundabout, turn right into the Rue Ferdinand Marche. The Cemetery (known locally as the 'Cimetiere de Bully-les-Mines') is 200 metres down this road on the right. The Commonwealth war graves plot is reached via 'Allee 8'.
