Hendecourt-les-Cagnicourt is a village in the Department of the Pas-de-Calais about 16 kilometres south-east of Arras and about 4 kilometres south of the Arras to Cambrai main road. Upton Wood is a small wood half-way between Hendecourt and Haucourt and UPTON WOOD CEMETERY is 110 metres south of the wood and about 2 kilometres north of the village.

  • Memorial Plaque– This bronze memorial was designed as a tribute to the men of the Eaton company who died as a result of service in World War One.   3,327 Eaton's staff enlisted in the war. It was unveiled in Toronto on November 15th, 1923 by Mrs. Timothy Eaton and on November 26th an identical memorial was unveiled in the Winnipeg store. The shield of the female figure bears the coats of arms of the provinces of Canada. Pte. Percy Herbert Miller is named on this memorial.
