Location:

Wancourt is a village about 8 kilometres south-east of Arras. It is 2 kilometres south of the main road from Arras to Cambrai. The WANCOURT BRITISH CEMETERY is a short distance south-east of the village just off the D 35 road.

  • Roll of Honour– Canadian National Railways - World War One Roll of Honour. Pte. George Albert Matthews enlisted in the 132nd Battalion C.E.F. in Campbellton, New Brunswick. He described his occupation on his military attestation form as an Electrician. Matthews was born in Campbellton.  In honoured memory.
