Baptized Joseph-Rosaire-Henri-Hervé Moreau.
Son of Hector Moreau (deceased in 1904) and Amélia Lemay-dit-Delorme (remarried to Louis-Pantaléon Pelletier in 1911), of Montréal, Québec.
Severely wounded on October 1st during the assault on Regina Trench; he was made prisoner of war and died of his wounds three days later, on the same date of his birthday.

Flesquieres is a village at the junction of the D92 and D89 roads, about 5 kilometres south-west of the main road from Cambrai to Bapaume. The FLESQUIERES HILL BRITISH CEMETERY lies a little east of the village on the south (right) side of the D92 road to Cantaing.
