Born 25 May 1882 in Birmingham, England. Son of Percy Solomon of Montreal, Quebec. Brother of Martin. He enlisted 12 November 1914 at Montreal, Quebec listing himself as single and his occupation as traveler. There is evidence to show that he was later married, (original gravemarker), but no information is available about his spouse.
