Son of Robert and Mary Ellen Wallace of Belleville, Ontario. He served in France with 1st Canadian Motor Machine Gun Brigade attached to the Royal Flying Corps. He attested at Valcartier, Quebec on 22 September 1914 and listed his occupation as telephone expert.
