Albert enlisted into the 102nd Battn. C.E.F. (Replacement) at Victoria BC on Feb. 7th 1916 listing his occupation as "Fireman" Albert died at Vancouver BC on Feb. 22nd 1920 at the age of 34.  He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
