  • Grave marker– Grave of 258150 Pvt. Michael Gentemon who served with the 211th Battn. C.E.F. Born in Stryg Austria on Sept. 29th 1874. Husband to Elizabeth Gentemon of West Vancouver BC.  Michael enlisted into the C.E.F. at Vancouver BC on April 28th 1916, he listed prior military service of 3 years in the Austrian Army. He listed his occupation as "Labourer"  Michael died Aug. 28th 1916 at the age of 49.  He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
