Michael enlisted into the C.E.F. at Vancouver BC on April 28th 1916, he listed prior military service of 3 years in the Austrian Army. He listed his occupation as "Labourer" Michael died Aug. 28th 1916 at the age of 49. He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
