Thomas enlisted into the 68th Battn C.E.F. (Replacement) at Regina Sask. on Aug 4th 1915, listing his occupation as "Clerk"  Thomas died at Vancouver BC on Oct. 1st 1919 at the age of 36.  He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
