Horace enlisted into the 11th Canadian Mounted Rifles C.E.F.(Replacement) at Victoria BC on May 14th 1916 listing his occupation as "Farmer" Horace died at Vancouver BC on Jan. 28th 1920 at the age of 27. He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC
