Michael was born in Dunidin New Zealand on Feb. 6th 1870.  He enlisted into the C.E.F. at Vancouver BC on July 14th 1917. He listed himself as a widower and his occupation as "Miner"
Michael died at Vancouver BC on Feb. 27th 1918 at the age of 48 and was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
