George enlisted into the C.E.F. at Victoria BC on Dec. 21st 1915 he listed prior military service of 1 year with the 79th Royal Highlanders and 8 months with the 50th Gordon Highlanders. he listed his occupation as "Civil Engneer" George died at Vancouver BC on March 2nd 1920 at the age of 59. He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC
