  • Family Memorial– Lieutenant G.S. Rogers is also commemorated on this family memorial, located only a few feet from his grave.  Lieut. Rogers's grave, though marked by a Commonwealth War Graves headstone, lies within his family's plot at the Barrie Union Cemetery, Barrie, Ontario.  He was survived by his parents, Thomas Rogers (1860-1931) and Susan Rogers (nee Somerville) (1863-1930), and by an older brother Dr. Norman Rogers, MD (1885-1940).
