Son of Margaret Ross, of Leith, Scotland, and the late William Drummond Ross; husband of Lily Ross, of Toronto, Ontario. Sgt Ross served 9 years in the Imperial Forces. He attested in Toronto on 27 January 1915. He was medically discharged on 9 October 1919.
