Memorial
Herbert was born in Walsall, Staffordshire on July 11,1890. He was a window dresser and card writer by trade. He had several years experience in the Military before enlisting on February 22, 1916 at Weyburn, Saskatchewan. His name is commemorated on the headstone at the grave of his older brother, Samuel, who also served in the Canadian Army. -
