  • Photo of Ralph Gwynn– Ralph Gwynn c. 1916.  The youngest of four brothers from West Malvern, Worcestershire, England who served during the First World War.  His eldest brother Walter, served in the 2nd Worcestershire Regiment and was killed near Messines on 28/1/1915.  Sidney also served in the Worcestershire Regiment and another brother Sam served with 23rd Field Ambulance, 7th British Division and won the French Medaille Militaire in May 1917.
