Roye is a commune in the Department of the Somme 40 kilometres south-east of Amiens. The ROYE NEW BRITISH CEMETERY is south-east of the town on the side of the Noyon road.

  • Roll of Honour– Canadian National Railways - World War One Roll of Honour. Pte. Robert Mackie enlisted in Winnipeg in April 1916 with the 179th Battalion (Cameron Highlanders of Canada) in "A" Company. He described his occupation on his military attestation form as a Car Repairer. According to this attestation, Mackie was born in Kinross, Scotland.  In honoured memory.
