  • Attestation paper– Germain Beaudry was drafted under the Military Service Act, 1917 into the 2nd Depot Battalion, 2nd Quebec Regiment. His Service Record reports that he attested in Montreal on 5 July 1918.
  • Circumstances of death registers– Germain Beaudry is reported to have died at his home at St. Paul de Joliette on 17 October 1918. His name is currently in the Canadian Book of Remembrance pending details of his burial location. The casualty report notes that he was buried in the family plot in the Roman Catholic Cemetery of St. Paul de Joliette. The grave may not be marked. We have yet to determine the significance of the Grave Numbers, such as that reported as "C-4479".
