Honouring Canada's military service and sacrifice

Canada Memorial in Green Park

Starting on 4 January 2021, Veterans Affairs Canada began a water system upgrade at the Canada Memorial in Green Park. This upgrade is part of our ongoing commitment to ensure the integrity and maintenance of Canada's 14 First and Second World War memorials in Europe. The work on site is expected to last until March 2021.

The Commonwealth War Graves Commission is overseeing the project. The Fountain Workshop Limited is the contractor doing the work. Visitors are unable to see the Memorial during this time. A wooden fence surrounds it to ensure public safety on the worksite.

We apologize for the inconvenience that this may cause.
