Reverend Brian Evans, Chaplain to multiple branches of The Royal Canadian Legion, has devoted decades of compassionate service to Canada’s Veterans and their families.
Since the early 1990s, Reverend Evans has served as Chaplain for several Legion branches, including Tisdale, Yorkton and Nanaimo. His role has extended far beyond ceremonial duties—he has been a steady and comforting presence at Remembrance Day ceremonies, Veteran funerals, memorial services and colour parties, offering spiritual support and heartfelt tributes to those who served.
In addition to his work with the Legion, Reverend Evans also volunteers as a Chaplain for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). In this role, he provides critical emotional and spiritual care, attending critical incident briefings, supporting members through times of crisis and ensuring their well-being in high-stress environments.
He is also a frequent speaker at local schools, where he shares the importance of remembrance and the sacrifices made by Canada’s Veterans. Whether officiating weddings, funerals or community events, Reverend Evans brings empathy, dignity and unwavering dedication to every aspect of his ministry.
