For their unwavering dedication to advancing the recognition and well-being of women Veterans, these individuals have made a lasting impact on the Veteran community. Their advocacy has ensured that women who served in the Canadian Armed Forces and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police have a stronger voice and a rightful place where their contributions are fully acknowledged.

Recognizing the unique challenges faced by women Veterans, they led efforts to create the first-ever Women Veterans Council—a space for women Veterans to share their experiences, champion their needs, and drive meaningful change. Their collaboration with Veterans Affairs Canada and other partners has strengthened the Council’s role as more than a symbol, but a powerful force for progress.

Through their leadership and commitment, they have influenced policies that support gender equity, enhance mental health resources, and ease the transition to life after service. Their contributions continue to shape a future where all women Veterans receive the respect, support, and recognition they deserve.
