Pte. Joseph Frank Beechwood was born in Buffalo, New York, on August 24th, 1893. He had worked as a Printer. He enlisted with the 97th Overseas Battalion, then known as the American Legion. These units were composed of men with American connections. Pte. Beechwood enlisted in Toronto on December 14th, 1915. -
