His name as it is inscribed on the Vimy Memorial. Over 11,000 fallen Canadians having no known place of burial in France, are honoured on this Memorial. May they never be forgotten. (J. Stephens) -

Son of Agnes L. Bisset, Edmonton, Alberta, and the late Robert Bisset. This man was with the 31st when wounded in June 1916. He had previously served with the 1st Lanark Royal Engineers for 3 years. In the war diary this man is listed as missing during the engagement in which he was killed. -
Biography
From the book ‘The Journal of Private Fraser’ Edited by Reginald H. Roy. Private Fraser witnessed the death of Robert Bisset in the attack on September 15, 1916.
