Son of Jessie Sarah (Quinton) Berteaux Ferguson, born around 1858 in Saint John, New Brunswick and died in Vancouver in 1945 at the age of 87. Brother of George Rupert Berteaux and Ralph Chisholm Berteaux, half-brother of Frances Amelia Ferguson. He was single man with an occupation of logger.
