Son of William Henry and Agnes Noble, of North Kingston, Nova Scotia. Husband of Ruby Noble, of Falmouth, Nova Scotia.

He had six months former service in the 193rd Battalion, Canadian Expeditionary Force. He embarked at Halifax on 31 May 1917 and arrived in England onboard the SS Olympic on 10 June 1917. He was discharged as unfit, due to service on 31 August 1918.

He served in Canada and England only.
