"No. 512078 Dvr R R Edwards backed the car out of the debris, assisted with a wounded civilian, took her on the car and drove on until he collapsed. Pernes-en-Artois is a small town in the Department of the Pas-de-Calais on the main road from Lillers to St Pol. The PERNES BRITISH CEMETERY is nearly one kilometre west of the town on the road to Sains-les-Pernes.
