Son of Alfred Biron and Nathalie Larocque, of St-Janvier-de-Weedon, Québec, and Fiskdale, Massachusetts.
Transferred to the 22nd Battalion on 28 June 1916, he fought at Zillebeke, Belgium, at the Battle of the Somme and at Courcelette, France, where he was killed in action on 2 October 1916 during the engagement to capture Regina Trench.
