Photo of William Riley
My father's uncle left northeastern Ontario for the west to take up land. My father said his parents were surprised when William enlisted.
We still have the Christmas card sent by Emma Riley for Christmas 1918, sent presumably before the news came of Williams death.
The photo is a postcard, apparently done in England.
