The Private Charles E. Granger Window was erected in 1920. He was a member of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment and was killed in action on December 5, 1917, at Cambrai, France.

The Private Arthur E. W. Maidment Window was erected in 1920. He was a member of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment and was killed in action on April 14, 1917, at Monchy, France.

The Private Stephen C. Morris Window was erected in 1920. He was a member of the No. 3 Field Ambulance, Medical Corps, Canadian Expeditionary Force, Canadian Army. On July 29, 1916, at Ypres/Salient, Belgium he was accidently killed by colliding with a locomotive while motorcycling over a level crossing.

The Private Frederick C. Somerton Window was erected in 1920. He was a member of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment and died on November 25, 1915, of wounds that were received at Gallipoli.

St. Luke's Anglican Church in Old Bonaventure has a stained glass window in its chancel above the altar with Jesus on the crucifixion cross, the window is in memory of three men from the community that lost their lives in the First World War: Aaron Miller Bailey, Walter Kenneth Pitcher and Henry Thomas Stone.

Pte. Aaron Miller Bailey was born on May 23, 1894 in Whale Cove, Old Bonaventure to George Garrett and Martha Mary (Miller) Bailey. He served in the 25th Battalion of the Canadian Expeditionary Force and died on April 27, 1916. He had three brothers who also served in the First World War: Bingley Garland Bailey in the Royal Navy, Garrett Cecil Bailey in the Forestry Corps and William Bailey.

Sergeant Walter Kenneth Pitcher was born in Old Bonaventure on April 6, 1891 to Archibald James and Fanny Elizabeth Pitcher. He served in the Royal Newfoundland Regiment, service number 2115 and was awarded the Military Cross. He died on November 20, 1917.

Pte. Henry Thomas Stone was born in Old Bonaventure on June 18, 1891 to Levi and Sarah Stone. He served in the Royal Newfoundland Regiment, service number 2099. He died on April 14, 1917 at Monchy, France.

Erected by the town of Bonavista, this war memorial library is dedicated to the local war dead of the First World War and Second World War. The memorial library is directly across from the Bonavista cenotaph.  

MCpl Kirk Noel was from St Anthony, and was killed in the crash of Tusker 914, a Cormorant helicopter from 413 Squadron Greenwood NS during training. 

A battery of two cannons was erected on this site in 1812 by Lieutenant Blansmard R.E. as a protection against raids by American Privateers and was maintained until 1815. Government of Newfoundland & Labrador.

The library started in 1949 as a memorial to the five men who lost their lives in the Second World War. It now honours all Veterans from the Greenspond community.

The War Memorial is a concrete and grey marble cenotaph with a bronze plaque on the grounds of St. Anthony United Church, at 296 West Street in the Town of St. Anthony. The War Memorial was constructed by local artisans on behalf of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 17 and erected on a piece of land provided by the United Church, using labour provided by the International Grenfell Association in 1958-59. The Legion’s first president, Almer Pardy, and other veterans oversaw the construction 1958/01/01 to 1959/01/01.

The memorial honours thirty-one local residents who died during World War I, World War II and the Korean War. The memorial bears 31 names on a bronze plaque at the base of the cenotaph. It also bears inscribed images of the British flags and the caribou emblem of the historic Newfoundland Regiment.
