Daughter of Léona Levesque of 4363, rue DeLorimier, Montréal, Québec. Before the war, she worked at Hopital Notre-Dame in Montreal, Quebec.
While on the front lines in Italy, she met her fiancé, Marcel Dussio who was born in Italy. Dussio was a member of the Royal 22e Régiment during the Second World War.
