Baptized Joseph-Adélard-Albert Lebrun. Son of Napoléon « Paul » Lebrun and Alexina Moisan (deceased in 1896).

After his mother’s death, he was raised by his uncle Louis Girard his aunt Louise Moisan in St-Raymond-de-Portneuf.

His father remarried to Malvina Alain in 1897 and later resided in Trois-Rivières, Mauricie, and Barraute, Abitibi, Québec.

BARLIN COMMUNAL CEMETERY Pas de Calais, France

Barlin is a village about 11 kilometres south-west of Bethune on the D188, between the Bethune-Arras and Bethune-St. Pol roads, about 6.5 kilometres south-east of Bruay. The BARLIN COMMUNAL CEMETERY and EXTENSION lie to the north of the village on the D171 road to Houchin.
