This memorial is dedicated to the memory of parishioner, Leland Stanford Westover, who was killed in action at Vimy Ridge while serving with the 38th Canadian Infantry Battalion, Canadian Expeditionary Force. It was erected by the Westover family in the Sutton Methodist Church.

In 1925, when the United Church of Canada was formed, the Sutton Methodist Church on Maple Street became the Calvary United Church. When the church closed in December 2014, the plaque was given to the Westover family who donated it to the Legion.

Draped over with a British union jack flag, this plaque is dedicated to a local gunner, Ernest Gardnar Russell, who was killed in action in France on 24 July 1944. It was erected by his family in the Calvary United Church on Maple Street.

The plaque was claimed by the family in December 2014, when the church was sold and its current location is not known.

The Old Anglican Church of the Good Shepherd was sold in 1999 and made into a concert hall.  Items in the church went to the Brome County Historical Society.  However, the Historical Society does not have the above certificate and its whereabouts are unknown.
