Le monument a été dévoilé le 28 mai 1994 par le colonel J.R. Marleau, CD en commémoration du Génie électrique et mécanique
Cette remorque représente bien le type d'équipement utilisé au bataillon. Elle a été en service de 1956 jusqu'à sa mise au rancard en 1993

This memorial, composed of a five-ton tractor and a plaque, has been unveiled in 1994 by Colonel J.R.Marleau, CD, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Corps of Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. It is dedicated to all those who served with the 5th Canadian Service Battalion since its formation.

This memorial, composed of a bronze statue on a stone cairn, was originally unveiled in 1986 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the QGET, 5th Brigade Group. In 1994, a plaque was added in honour of Lieutenant Bernard Lafleur, MC, who lived from 1920 to 1961.

This heliport was named in honour of W/C J.H.L. (Joe) Lecomte. It is one of only three military aerodromes in Canada to be named after an individual; Moose Jaw Air Vice Marshal C.M. McEwen Airport (47005-015) and Cold Lake/Group Captain R.W. McNair Airport (48017-025) being the others.

This monument is intended to pay homage not only to the war dead, but also to the survivors. It therefore complements the post office monument in order to honour all those who deserve it. Somewhat ironically, the monument commemorating the war dead stands in a busy and crowded place, whereas the one honouring the survivors is located in the La Tuque catholic cemetery.

This monument to our valiant comrades killed in action was first installed in Saint-Eugène Park when it was unveiled in 1946, but it was moved near the post office in 1958 because of construction work in the park. The names of those brave soldiers are engraved on it for a long time and it is there that the veterans lay flowers in commemoration each year on Remembrance Day.
